31 Days of Halloween Day 12: Concrete Domes in Arizona

31

Only 19 days until Halloween!

Throughout the month of October I’ll be posting once a day with something to get you into the Halloween spirit, including movie and book reviews, real haunted places, occult topics and more. Come back each day and join in the fun!

Every place has some abandoned structure that people believe is haunted. While a building that hasn’t been used regularly for years can seem creepy, quite a few insist that some incredibly odd concrete domes in the Arizona desert are a magnet for paranormal activity.

Back in the early 1980s, a California tech firm decided to start manufacturing microprocessors near Casa Grande, AZ. The venture quickly folded, but not before several concrete domes were built in what was the middle of nowhere. The domes look weird, and even better one has a classic flying saucer shape, which only fuels speculation about their attachment to the paranormal.

Quite a few people have gone to the domes, many of them illegally since they’re private property. Among the claims of strange activity is the general feeling of being watched, disembodied footsteps/voices, and even strange lights appearing in the sky above. People have said they’ve seen shadowy figures lurking about, had something tap on their car windows when visiting the domes, or felt unexplained vibrations while inside the different structures.

Have you ever been to somewhere that’s haunted?

Have you seen these domes in Arizona?

Leave a comment below and join in the Halloween fun! We still have 19 more posts to go this month, so come back and see what else I have in store.
