Why I’m Proud of Gracie the Ghost Eater


My first book written for all ages, Gracie the Ghost Eater, was published in September of 2012. It hasn’t won any awards, nor has earned hundreds of thousands of dollars for me. But, at this point in my life, I’d consider it one of my greatest accomplishments. In fact, I’m so proud of my work, I’m writing a follow-up novel.

I’ve taken the majority of this year off blogging, for various personal and professional reasons. The conclusion I’ve come to is that far too much of my time and energy has been spent on blogging in the last few years, instead of writing books. That’s changed. At the same time, I don’t want this blog to die.
